Information to battery regulation (BattV)
Batteries and storage batteries do not belong into the household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to return used batteries and storage batteries. Please dispose these only at the specialist shop or at battery collecting points. This is a specific contribution to the environmental protection. Since 1998 the battery regulation obliges all citizens and female citizens to dispose used batteries and used storage batteries exclusively at the shop or at special collecting points (legal return obligation). Trade and manufacturer are obliged to take back these batteries and to use duly or to remove as a special refuse (legal withdrawal obligation). If you would like to return your batteries and storage batteries, please send them post-paid to our address.
Batteries which contain pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed garbage can. Below the garbage can symbol you find the chemical designation of the pollutant. For example, CD " for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, "Hg" for mercury, "Li ion" for Lithium, "Li polymer" for Lithium, "Co." for cobalt, "Ni" for nickel and "ms" for manganese.
