Shifter problems
Please test if the cable has a problem by using the long pedal cable on the shifters. Make sure that the 7GS is calibrated properly (you find more details in the manual).
Please check the function on a PC in the driver Menu if possible.
Xbox360 – Forza 3:
Please do not power on the console by the wheel if you want to use the 7GS shifter and/or the clutch. There is a recognition problem in the game.
It will also work if you “restart” the wheel after powering on the console. We hope for an update.
RF Dongle problems
Please make a new binding between wheel and dongle like explained in the manual. Other solutions:
- Please try to use the dongle with a USB hub or an extension cable.
- Please try different positions of the dongle.
Noise in the wheel:
After longer use the fands in the wheel will come on.
Because of the silent Belt Drive you can also hear the Force Feedback motors themselves. Both is normal!
Racing rig or playseat compatibility:
Please ask the producer of your favored product if the Fanatec Porsche Wheels are compatible or how you could mount them.
The RennSport Wheel Stand Shifter adapter for Porsche wheels
could help you to mount the shifter wherever you want with normal M6 screws.
Wheel and pedals can me mounted with 4 standard screws anyway.
Hard mounting:
If you mount the wheel with screws please take care to tighten them gently and take care that they are not too long.
Please also use the normal table clamp additionally if possible!
